TigSiPay Becomes a Participant of the Electronic Clearing System (EKS)

It is worth noting that previously, direct participation in EKS was available only to credit institutions and the State Treasury. However, as of October 17, 2024, direct access to EKS has also been made available to licensed payment and electronic money institutions, as well as credit unions.

We are proud to be among the first non-bank payment service providers to take advantage of this opportunity.

For our clients, this means that starting from July 2, payments across the SEPA area — that is, within the European Union and the European Economic Area — can be executed within a matter of seconds, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.

The EKS system provides two services — a clearing service and an instant payment service. At this stage, TigSiPay has access to the instant payment service, and we are actively working to gain access to the clearing service by autumn of this year, which will allow us to process standard customer payments through EKS as well.

At the same time, the company continues to focus on developing other services to achieve its long-term goals and become a strong player in the financial technology sector.
